| Description | • Set up and operate more than one type of production machine tool such as CNC mills, drill presses, lathes & Komo machines, etc. • Drilling holes and comparing templates. • Able to read detailed Blue prints and run parts to the Blue print utilizing an in-mill or lathe to manufacture small parts and components. • Operate machines that have numeric controls. • Experience using micrometers, calipers, and various gauges. • Fulfilling company standard times and individual productivity goals. • Fulfilling output requirements while reducing scrap levels. Job is located in Mt. Pleasant and is temp to hire High School Diploma required • CNC Certificate Preferred . Special Skills/Qualifications Needed: • Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities. • Must be able to QC own work. • Ability to perform tasks efficiently while maintaining quality. • Ability to handle tasks requiring detailed (or precise) actions and manipulations. • Proficiency with metric and standard unit measurement systems. • Proficient utilizing G-code. • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds safely. |
